The Rangjung Yeshe Tibetan-English Dharma Dictionary. 65,000 entries on diskettes for PC or Mac. The Dharma Dictionary is an ongoing project to compile English translations of Tibetan Buddhist terms in order to bridge the Tibetan-English language gap. Begun in 1979, the database created through this project has slowly grown to a size of more than 5 megabytes with approximately 85,000 entries. Comparatively, the Tibetan-English Dictionary by Sarat Chandra Das has approximately 27,000 entries. The project is supported by Rangjung Yeshe Publications, located in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal.
